  ABOUT ISAO


The University of Michigan-Dearborn is committed to helping students and
faculty expand their academic, intellectual, personal, professional, and cultural horizons.

The purpose of the International Students Academic Office (ISAO) is to promote and facilitate the international collaboration programs of the University of Michigan-Dearborn. The ISAO serves to enhance educational experiences and the cultural understanding of students and faculty; and to reach out to the surrounding community, both near and far.

ISAO is responsible for maintaining and assisting in the development of international cooperative agreements. Information about these programs is available in the ISAO office, room 4026 of the CASL building.

Additionally, ISAO is responsible for coordinating the Transfer Curriculum Guides for Schools/Colleges. Transfer Curriculum guides provide a map describing how credits from the various schools the University participates in exchange programs with will transfer to University of Michigan-Dearborn.

ISAO continues to develop the international exchange programs for students and assist faculty to identify teaching and research opportunities overseas.
