How to Apply?
Students are encouraged to apply for internships as early as possible, but no earlier than one term before the desired internship placement period. Internships within the federal government require background checks that may take several months to complete. Students are responsible for seeking and securing internship placement with the assistance of the advisor. Students should seek approval from the advisor before finalizing an internship with an agency.
- Complete a Criminal Justice Internship Application and consult with the Advisor to discuss your interest and eligibility in the program.
- Complete authorization forms: one for the Seminar and one for the Internship. Both forms must be signed by the Advisor.
- Submit both forms to the Registrar’s Office.
