  GRADUATION AND COMMENCEMENT

Applying to Graduate

Students who expect to complete their degree requirements during any given semester must complete a diploma application. Diploma applications are available in the CASL Advising and Records Office (1091 CA) each semester during the registration period. If a student is pursuing degrees from more than one unit, or is expecting more than one degree from a particular unit, two diploma applications must be completed. Degrees are granted in April, August, and December. For each graduation the College will do an in-house degree audit to verify that all requirements for graduation have been met.

Commencement

Commencement exercises are coordinated by the Registrar’s Office and are held only in April/May and December. August graduates can participate in the ceremony in the previous April/May or in the following December. August graduates who wish to attend a graduation ceremony must contact the Office of Registration and Records.
