IV. Public Television and Radio

Creator and Project Director for Seasons of Life, a series of five
one-hour television documentaries produced by WQED/Pittsburgh. Released
in the fall of 1990.

Executive Producer, Host, and Writer for Seasons of Life, a series of
twenty-six half-hour audio programs produced by the University of
Michigan. Released in the fall of 1990.

(Seasons of Life was funded by a grant of $2.15 million which Kotre
received in December, 1984, from the Annenberg Project of the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Additonal funding was provided by
the John D. and Catherine T. MacCarthur Foundation and the National
Endowment for the Humanities. Along with related print materials, the
television and radio series are used as a university telecourse in
lifespan psychology.)
